My
name is Pat Kelbaugh. My genre is
dark fantasy. Dreamtime is my
first novel under my real name. I
had been writing under a pseudonym,
P.K. Collier, which I'll no longer
be using for either novels or poetry
(see www.voicesnet.com).
Dreamtime
is constructed like Russian nesting
dolls; that is, within it are two
complete novels: Darke House
and its sequel Summerland,
linked by a one-page chapter called
“Interlude”. Since one of the
characters is a writer, we also find
her novel, a detective-noir
story called Crying Time,
within Summerland.
Darke House
was released as a stand-alone in
early 2009. Please don't go looking
for it. You see, I'm no longer with
that publisher. Besides, the book is
undergoing a revision as it becomes
part of Dreamtime.
News
about the progress of Dreamtime
will appear here. In the meantime,
the Gallery and poetry sections of
this website are still open. Take a
look. I've been a watercolorist for
most of my life. I'm primarily known
for my paintings of things connected
to the sea; but I illustrate my
writing as well. The paintings on
this site are very different. |
